Watermark Wedding Showcase
The annual Watermark Wedding Showcase is Sunday, April 18 from 1 to 3 p.m. at Annapolis City Dock. The show is onboard Catherine Marie and Cabaret II and will feature the area's finest caterers and wedding service providers. Brides and hostesses will have the opportunity to see a luxury yacht used as a unique setting for a reception. Admission is $8 with advance reservation and $10 at the dock.

Blue Angels Demonstration Cruise
As part of the U.S. Naval Academy commissioning week, the Blue Angels will perform over the Severn River on Wednesday, May 26. To take full advantage of this exciting air show, Watermark is offering a Blue Angels Cruise from 1-3 p.m. Tickets are $35 for adults and $25 for children under 11. Reservations are strongly recommended.

WRNR Rock'n'River Music Cruise
The first of the series of Rock'N'River music cruises staged by WRNR Radio Annapolis 103.1is set for May 26. Cruises are every fourth Wednesday through September, from 8-11 p.m. onboard Harbor Queen and feature performances by regional and national music groups of note. A roster of the performers will be posted on www.harborqueen.com within the upcoming weeks.

Tour Schedule

Annapolis Harbor & Naval Academy Tour
Watermark Cruises will resume the Harbor Queen 40-minute narrated tours on Saturday March 27. The tour is of Annapolis Harbor, the banks of the U.S. Naval Academy and from where the Chesapeake meets the Severn River up to the Severn River Bridges. The well-researched narration gives entertaining highlights of the history of the Annapolis Harbor and the Naval Academy. The tours depart at the top of the hour from noon to 3:00 p.m. on weekdays and 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on weekends until May 14. Starting May 15 the tours will run from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on weekdays and 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on weekends and holidays. Tickets are $8 for adults and $4 for children 3 -11 years old. Children under 2 are free.

Spa Creek Tour
The 40-minute Miss Anne Spa Creek narrated tours will resume on April 24. Miss Anne tours Annapolis Harbor and the banks of the U.S. Naval Academy and passes under the Eastport Bridge to explore the headwaters of Spa Creek and the residential area of old Annapolis. The narration covers the area's history from the 17th century to the present. Until May 14 the tours depart on the half -hour from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. weekdays and from 1:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. weekdays. Starting May 15, the weekday tours will run until 8:30 p.m. and the weekend and holiday tours will have two boats. One will depart at a quarter after the hour and the other at a quarter before the hour from 1:15 p.m. to 8:15 p.m.. Tickets are $8 for adults and $4 for children 3 -11 years old. Children under 2 are free.

Pirates of the Chesapeake Cruise
New to the Watermark tour schedule is the Pirates of the Chesapeake Cruise. On this one-hour tour, Watermark's very own pirate, Capt. Billy Baye, and his sidekick Grumpy Stumpy the Pirate Crab (a hand puppet) entertain audiences of all ages with games, music and tales of piracy. This cruise is offered on Fridays at 10:45 a.m. starting April 23. The tour is also being offered Thursday through Monday over Memorial Day, Independence Day and Labor Day weekends. Tickets are $13 for adults, $8 for children 3-11 and free for children 2 and under.

90-Minute Narrated Tours
Watermark's 90-minute narrated tours resume on weekends starting April 26. Thursday, Friday and holiday tours will be added starting May 20. Three different 90-minute tours are offered on each of these days. The 12:30 p.m. cruise is a six-mile tour of the scenic Severn River. The 2:30 p.m. cruise goes to the Chesapeake Bay Bridges. And the 4:30 p.m. cruise goes to Thomas Point Lighthouse. Tickets are $16 for adults, $8 for children 3 -11 and free for children 2 and under.

Bay Lighthouses Tour
Once only available for groups, the Bay Lighthouses Tour is another new tour on the Watermark schedule for 2004. During this 2 ¾ hour tour you pass under the twin spans of the Bay Bridges and cruise by Sandy Point Shoal, Baltimore Harbor and Thomas Point Shoal Lighthouses. Each passenger receives a flyer giving descriptions of the lighthouses. The tour debuts on Monday, May 31 and then will run every Sunday starting July 4th. The tour departs at 12:15 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. Tickets are $30 for adults and $15 for children 11 and under.

Day on the Bay Cruises
Saturday Day on the Bay Cruises to St. Michaels resume on May 22 and Friday Day on the Bay Cruises to Rock Hall resume on May 28. Through June 26 and during the month of September, the Saturday cruise to St. Michaels is onboard Annapolitan II. Tickets are $55 for adults and $27.50 for children under 11. Rebecca will do the Saturday tours during July and August. The Annapolitan II Monday tour resumes mid-July. The Rock Hall Day on the Bay cruises are onboard Annapolitan II and are offered the last Friday of the month through September. Tickets for the Rock Hall cruise are $50 for adults and $25 for children under 11. All Day on the Bay Cruises are from 10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. roundtrip and include complimentary coffee and doughnuts on the morning portion of the cruise. The St. Michael cruise gives you 2 ½ at the destination and also includes admission to the Maritime Museum. The Rock Hall cruise gives you 3 hours at the destination and includes use of the Rock Hall Trolley. Reservations are strongly recommended.

Water Taxi

Water taxi service throughout Annapolis Harbor, Spa Creek and Back Creek will resume Mid May on the following schedule: Monday - Thursday 9:30 a.m. - 11 p.m., Friday 9:30 a.m. - 1 a.m. and Sun 9:00 a.m. - 11 p.m. During April and early May, they will run as weather permits.
