WATERMARK TO HOST "QUEEN OF ALL FOOD DRIVES"

(Annapolis, MD) -- Watermark, the premier tour, charter and cruise company of Annapolis, MD is pleased to announce that it will not only be giving the public the opportunity to watch the Eastport Yacht Club’s Lights Parade from the best seat in town this December, but also the chance to give back this holiday season.
Watermark employees were planning to decorate the iconic Harbor Queen to sit dockside during the Eastport Yacht Club’s Lights Parade as a great viewing spot for the public, but due to the recent thefts at the Anne Arundel County Food Bank, they decided to offer Harbor Queen as a venue for a holiday food drive. The food drive will benefit some of the neediest citizens of Anne Arundel County, and the goal is to offset the loss from theft earlier this month.
Watermark in support of the AA Co. Food Bank and in partnership with the Annapolis Chamber of Commerce will be hosting the event aboard the festive Harbor Queen, which will remain at the dock in order to collect donations and offer spectacular views of the Lights Parade. The cost of admission to guests will be non-perishable food item(s) or cash/check donations to the AA Co. Food Bank. Watermark will feature a cash bar, with the proceeds also going to the Food Bank.
The public is encouraged to dress warmly and bring their holiday spirit down to help those in need and enjoy a festive Annapolis tradition. The Queen of All Food Drives will be held on the Harbor Queen at the Annapolis City Dock Saturday, December 11th from 5:30 – 8:30 PM.
