Annapolis Market House Community Corner
Welcomes Efforts of Four Rivers Heritage Area Partners
(Annapolis, MD) -- Historic and maritime partners with Four Rivers Heritage Area & Partners are volunteering at the Community Corner in the Market House September 19th, 2011 – October 3, 2011. Partners include Annapolis Maritime Museum, Chesapeake Bay Foundation, Annapolis Tours® by Watermark®, Historic Annapolis Foundation, Discover Annapolis Tours and Annapolis Community Boating.
The Community Corner in the Market House will help explain the heritage and cultural landscape of the Four Rivers Heritage Area to locals and visitors to the Market House. “Support Local Heritage!” is the rallying cry for the group’s promotion to entice local residents and visitors alike to partake in visiting Four Rivers Heritage Area locales, sites and tours.
“As a part of the heritage partners of this area, known as “Four Rivers: The Heritage Area of Annapolis, London Town and South County,” we are pleased to team up to meet the public for two weeks in the wonderful “Community Corner” of Annapolis’s revitalized Market House,” said Heather Skipper, Guide Operations Director for Annapolis Tours® by Watermark®. “Watermark’s colonial-attired guides have volunteered to tell everyone how to enjoy our wonderful heritage in and around Annapolis,” Skipper concluded.
