Walk with the Colonials – Historic District: 1 ½ Hour Tour Pricing

Our colonial attired tour guides will bring history to life as your students visit key sites that are part of Maryland's colonial past and our nation's history. Learn about life in the mid to late 18th century. Tour includes the interior (when available) of the Maryland State House, the oldest State House in continuous use in the United States. This tour satisfies several of the Maryland State Department of Education curriculum requirements.

U.S. Naval Academy
Include the sights and sounds of the U.S. Naval Academy, home to over 4,000 midshipmen, to your tour for your complete experience (building interiors when available).

The Hunt for John Cooper's Treasure : 2 Hour Land/Water Program

Watermark's Pirate Flag

Show students the value of teamwork as they search for pirates' "treasure." During this two hour experience, students will learn provisioning and navigation skills on land before stepping aboard a boat to put these skills to use. Students will hear tales of literary and real Chesapeake pirates.

Treasure Our Water: All New for 2008!
In Partnership with the Annapolis Maritime Museum

Learn about one of our most valuable natural resources, water, and its interaction with people and the ecosystem of the Chesapeake Bay. Students will explore water conservation, observe the roles of wetlands, and learn about the importance of oysters in water quality. Students will spend half the time ashore at the Annapolis Maritime Museum and half on a boat examining Bay waters up close.

Colonial Pursuit: All New for 2o08!

Armed with compass and clues, Watermark colonial guides will help your students discover the hidden secrets of Annapolis. To find the answers, teams will visit a variety of Annapolis landmarks, all within a half-mile radius of Annapolis City Dock. Inscriptions on statues will be read, architectural features of buildings identified, and other notable landmarks will be searched to answer the scavenger hunt riddles.

In-School Program: Pirates of the Chesapeake

In this show dreams come true as our pirate, Captain Marcus Waters, takes your students on an incredible journey. Your young pirates will learn about pirate ships and the history of real pirates of the Chesapeake Bay. Then it's cast off for adventure with the interactive pirate legend The Captains of the Compass.

In-School Program: Modern Student Meets Colonial Times

Our 18th Century Annapolitan will lead your young scholars on a journey back in time to explore life during Colonial America. Your students will join in lively discussions about settlement, government, and daily life. They will also participate in a rousing rendition of the skit: George Washington and His Capable Crew.
